About me
Kevin Michels-Kim
Zurich, Switzerland
By day, I am a marketing manager for e-business in the pharmaceutical industry. By night, I become a technology enthusiast, website programmer, currency trader, baby-diaper changer, chocolate afficionado, ski freak, and, occassionally when the mood is right, blog writer. My professional life revolves around innovation in the marketing world. In a merciful twist of fate (which my friends assure me is rare indeed), many of my personal interests happen to coincide with this line of work. Übermarketer is my home on the internet, a place which I have never bothered to create until now, despite pretty much living, breathing, and working with the web for the greater part of my life.
About this blog
Oh, so you actually want to know more about the blog, not me?
That’s fine as well. The web is already inundanted with narcissistic “about me” pages and precious little original content. Übermarketer was launched in 2006, following several months of occassional brainstroming, aimless philosophizing, and general procrastination. The entire website is dedicated to marketing in the internet age, with a particular focus on analytical marketing or, some would say, left-brain marketing. Through the blog, I offer comments and information related to these topics with the idea of sharing knowledge with you, the reader. The beauty of a blog, of course, is that comments and feedback on the postings can be made at any time. I encourage you to participate in the discussion, or, if you prefer, to send my your thoughts via e-mail at kevin [at] ubermarketer [dot] com.
